Day Six- Park City to Bryce Canyon Utah

What?? A resort hotel that doesn't do breakfast? We tried telling them we were the President and First Lady but no use.

So, together with the Molloys we were on the road by 7, confident that we would find a nice place for breakfast on the road.

The scenery was fabulous right from the get go.

By 7:45 confidence was waning so we stopped for gas and to enquire what was the best breakfast spot in Provo that we had now reached. Apparently folks in Utah don't go out to eat on Sunday  - the gas attendant delivered the bad news that everything would be closed.

But leave it to eagle eyed The to save the day! She saw a diner open just before we were to hit the freeway south. What a nice place - and a really engaging server that we have all adopted!

Andy and Eleanor in front of a great saying:

After that we headed down the freeway and then over to Torrey for gas and lunch.

The afternoon ride was fantastic. Up to 9,600 feet, over Hell's Backbone, down into the Escalante river basin and then finally arriving in Bryce Canyon at the infamous Ruby's Inn. The buffet scene is unchanged!

Tomorrow, a day off the bike hiking in the National Park. Nice!
