Day Five - Jackson Wyoming to Park City Utah

It rained through the night but once again by morning it stopped. We set off for breakfast at a nice little restaurant close to the hotel - but neither of us could find it again so we ended up at........ Bubba's BBQ. Nuff said!

So off we set on a cool cloudy morning on our way to meet up with Andy and Eleanor.

We followed the Snake River as it carved it's way south and west. It got colder, and colder - honestly, who goes south to get colder?  Us apparently, we got down as far as 48F at the lowest.  But a beautiful ride as the mountains gradually got smaller.

Our route took us through Afton where we saw, wait for it, the world's longest elk horn arch!

By midday we were out on to the plains. The contemplates the road ahead!

It started to warm right up but with it came huge wind gusts, road works, overflowing marshes and a detour. We just take this kind of thing in stride now.

At the end of the ride was the Westgate Resort and an unexpected surprise for our room. Trump already has a hotel in Park City so this was ours!

Actually, although the main suite was open to us we were actually just given Sean Spicer's little annex!

We met up with Andy and Eleanor and went into the downtown for dinner. It's a cool, well heeled town with lots of restaurants, pubs and shops.

See you tomorrow for the longest day of our trip, the ride to Bryce Canyon.
